WHAT IS HIIT?
High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is a fast, effective workout that blends short bursts of effort with recovery to build strength, burn fat, and boost endurance.

WHY BEACH HIIT?
We chose to focus on HIIT workouts (specifically on the beach) because the combination is both physically powerful and mentally grounding. Our HIIT classes offer an efficient, full-body workout that challenges strength, endurance, and focus, all in under an hour. Pairing that with the natural elements of the beach amplifies the experience: the sand adds resistance and instability, enhancing muscle engagement, while the ocean air and open space support mental clarity and stress relief. Most fitness classes feel confined or impersonal, but we designed Beach HIIT Club to break that mold by delivering high-impact movement in a setting that reconnects you to nature and community.
HIIT VS. TRADITIONAL CARDIO
-
INTENSITY + STRUCTURE
HIIT alternates short bursts of intense effort with brief recovery periods, spiking your heart rate quickly and building strength and endurance in less time. Traditional cardio, on the other hand, involves steady, moderate-intensity movement, like jogging or cycling, for a sustained period, keeping your heart rate consistent throughout.
-
CALORIE BURN
HIIT burns more calories in a shorter amount of time and keeps your metabolism elevated even after the workout ends, thanks to the “afterburn effect.” Traditional cardio burns calories during the workout itself but doesn’t significantly impact calorie burn once you stop.
-
MUSCLE ENGAGEMENT
HIIT activates multiple muscle groups through bodyweight and resistance exercises, building strength and improving overall endurance. Traditional cardio focuses more on cardiovascular health and stamina, with less emphasis on muscle development.
-
VARIATION
HIIT offers constant variety with dynamic movements like sprints, core work, and jump squats, keeping workouts engaging and challenging. Traditional cardio tends to be more repetitive, often centered around a single activity, which can become monotonous over time.
